Vision Statement

The purpose of this non-profit organization,"A Heart for Israel ", is to collect and forward funds to Messianic Congregations in the land of Israel.

The objective is at least two-fold. First, we want to fulfill the biblical principal to bless the land and people of Israel. Secondly, we desire to reach out to the Messianic Jewish people in particular with acts of kindness as is directed by scripture (Romans 15:27). "They were glad to do this because they feel they owe a real debt to them. Since the Gentiles received the spiritual blessings of the Good News from the believers in Jerusalem, they feel the least they can do in return is to help them financially."

All funds solicited from individuals, foundations, businesses and churches, including Messianic congregations sympathetic to their counterparts in Israel are promptly disbursed on a regular basis.

The underlying purpose of A heart for Israel is to encourage Gentile believers to actively show, through compassionate deeds of generosity, that we understand it is our responsibility to recognize and bless Israel . We want to affirm to all concerned that what we enjoy as Christians is due to what we first received through our Hebrew roots-the Jewish patriarchs.

Last, but perhaps first in priority, we want to form a bond of friendship with Jewish people by humbly reaching out to them and the various indigenous people in the land of Israel (with a special emphasis on those Messianic congregations already there and the hope of building more of them).

Ultimately, we want to see all people groups reached with the Gospel. We believe this can best be done via the Messianic congregation strategy.

Therefore, the greater emphasis will be to see the Jewish people embrace the truth of Yeshua (Jesus). They will then reach the other people groups and do so more expeditiously/efficiently than we outsiders ever could.

At the heart of this, we are acknowledging that we Gentiles have been wrong in our neglect of  our responsibility toward the land of Israel, her people, and Jews everywhere as reflected by our failure to honor God's plan for Israel in our worldview.

Furthermore, we believe that as "branches" added to God's Olive Tree it is important for us to recognize and value our roots and endeavor to take conciliatory actions to accommodate the prophesied grafting in again of those "branches" previously cut off; i.e. to their own Olive Tree... "You, by nature, were a branch cut from a wild olive tree. So if God was willing to do something contrary to nature by grafting you into his cultivated tree, he will be far more eager to graft the original branches back into the tree where they belong."  (Romans 11:24).

This is to be a "ministry of reconciliation" to endeavor to help reconcile all the lost people groups living in Israel, with a special emphasis on the unbelieving Jews, to help them be able to embrace their own Messiah. All the while cultivating a loving, organic, "One New Man", relationship between those who have already and will yet accept Yeshua, both Jew and Gentile.

Eph. 2:15,16 states : "He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups.

16 Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death."

We believe that the first and most relevant thing to be done to facilitate this vision is to validate our sincerity by sending generous financial aid to help the established Messianic congregations in their time of need.

The scriptural basis for this point of view helps drive home the relevancy and urgency of cooperating together to participate with God in bringing Israel back to her rightful place.

Please consider the following: ( New Living Translation.)

11 Did God’s people stumble and fall beyond recovery? Of course not!...

12 Now if the Gentiles were enriched because the people of Israel turned down God’s offer of salvation, think how much greater a blessing the world will share when they finally accept it.

15 For since their rejection meant that God offered salvation to the rest of the world, their acceptance will be even more wonderful. It will be life for those who were dead!

16 And since Abraham and the other patriarchs were holy, their descendants will also be holy—just as the entire batch of dough is holy because the portion given as an offering is holy. For if the roots of the tree are holy, the branches will be, too.

17 But some of these branches from Abraham’s tree—some of the people of Israel —have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in the rich nourishment from the root of God’s special olive tree.

18 But you must not brag about being grafted in to replace the branches that were broken off. You are just a branch, not the root.

19 “Well,” you may say, “those branches were broken off to make room for me.”

20 Yes, but remember—those branches were broken off because they didn’t believe in Christ, and you are there because you do believe. So don’t think highly of yourself, but fear what could happen.

21 For if God did not spare the original branches, he won’t spare you either.

22 Notice how God is both kind and severe. He is severe toward those who disobeyed, but kind to you if you continue to trust in his kindness. But if you stop trusting, you also will be cut off.

23 And if the people of Israel turn from their unbelief, they will be grafted in again, for God has the power to graft them back into the tree.

24  You, by nature, were a branch cut from a wild olive tree. So if God was willing to do something contrary to nature by grafting you into his cultivated tree, he will be far more eager to graft the original branches back into the tree where they belong.

25  I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters,so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ.

26 And so all Israel will be saved. As the Scriptures say, “The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem, and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness.

27 And this is my covenant with them, that I will take away their sins.”[j]

28  Many of the people of Israel are now enemies of the Good News, and this benefits you Gentiles. Yet they are still the people he loves because he chose their ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

29 For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.

30 Once, you Gentiles were rebels against God, but when the people of Israel rebelled against him, God was merciful to you instead.

31 Now they are the rebels, and God’s mercy has come to you so that they, too, will share in God’s mercy. 32 For God has imprisoned everyone in disobedience so he could have mercy on everyone.

33 Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!
